Medical Questions > No money to refill Heart Medications

I had been unemployed for the past five months. I've moved from IL to FL. I've had 4 heart attacks and have two stents. I've been on 5 meds, aspirin, Toprol, Plavix, Lipitor, and Altace for the past 5 years. Due to unemployment, I have not had the money to refill my prescriptions. I've been off of them for about 3 months. I now have a job, but have only been working for about 3 weeks. My insurance has kicked in, but due to car payment (if I don't pay this week they'll reposses), rent due in 5 days, I cannot afford the co-payment for a new doctor or the cost of the medications yet. My old prescriptions have expired. It will be about another month before I can afford the doctors and meds. I feel like I'm having some palpitations and can tell my blood pressure is high. Should I just go to the emergency room? I'm a little worried, but if I get the meds, I won't have food.
